Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals

Like what you see?

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you’ve had your Eggs and a lovely Easter weekend so far. Today I want to share with you a card that we’ll be making at my Spring Special Event next Saturday, the whole event will be based on the Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals stampset which comes in all 3 variations (wood or clear mount and photopolymer).

Spring Special 2015 052This card was CASE’d from Dawn Olchefske – I love Dawn’s designs, and so I decided to use this one in my special event day along with a LOT of others! I’ll share more of the items we’re creating in next Sunday’s blog as all the surprises will have been delivered by then for my lovely Special event attendees.  I love the way Stampin’ Up! creates coordinated products, not just the inks and paper, but the stamp set and embossing folder – look how well they work together in this close up. The stems in the stamps are mirrored in the embossed flowers – if you see the embossing on a larger scale you realise that the flowers match these stamps and another tulip shaped flower in the set too – so very, very clever and they really bring the card together into one design.

Spring Special 2015 053I love my large events, and people have been asking about a crafting retreat, I would be interested in knowing if YOU would be interested in coming to a retreat – it would be at a hotel venue with overnight stay Saturday night (optional Friday night) with 2 fun packed days of crafting Saturday & Sunday. If you are interested, please can you leave a comment below and I will gauge the interest levels and be in touch with more information / questions on what you’d like to see.

So on that note, have a lovely rest of the Easter break and I hope you’ll be having some crafting fun too, please check out my Gallery in the menu bar as I’ve uploaded some customer makes recently for your added inspiration!

Take care, happy stamping, Pip x
