Like what you see?

Pillow GiftsHappy Sunday stamping everyone! I hope you’re either outside enjoying the sunshine, or indoors crafting – what else would you be doing on a Sunday? Well, also maybe catching up on all the news from the Queen Pip Cards’ Special Event Stampin’ Up! Style that I held yesterday for the lucky ladies who managed to procure a place! Space was limited, so I had 8 all day attendees and another 4 joined us in the afternoon. It was crafting, chatting, coffee / cake bliss all day long! Here is a picture of the afternoon’s pillow gifts for everyone – they were stuffed with chocolate (or dairy / gluten substitute) – and they were made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit (LOVE it!) and coordinated with the colour theme of the day. So, you want to see what we made don’t you? Well it was a LOT!

Painted Petals and BloomsThe stars of the show were the Painted Petals stampset and matching Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP), which EVERYONE is loving this year and I’m no exception. There are always a couple of things I like to put into one of my all day events – something fancy and something different and using a box that was shown at Stampin’ Up! Leadership in Orlando, a Diorama card, a swing through card and a home decor item ticked all my boxes! Plus we did some other cards too of course!

So first up, here is my sampler that will fit a 12″ x 12″ shadow / deep box frame and for those who didn’t want to make a sampler – well it made 9 cute square card toppers instead!

SamplerI wanted something fun and that showcased the paper, the stampset and some punches / dies! This covers that I think, plus there was the first Origami outing in the fan (bottom right corner) – as some of my followers will know hubby bought me a “how to” book for Christmas, so I’m easing the projects in gently – by Christmas we’ll all be dab hands at it!

2015-04-11 15.08.08Here are the ladies busy stamping, punching and chatting away! We had a fab Raffle that everyone enjoyed, and as promised some of the proceeds are being donated to charity, so thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket, we raised another £20 for Breast Cancer Campaign!

2015-04-11 15.08.44Back to the projects, my next favourite was the Swing Card, I’ve seen loads on YouTube and Pinterest, so I wanted to give it a go myself and the colours were just great, I love this jazzy spotty pink DSP – which is so very different to the flower designs you think of with Painted Blooms.

Swing Card

For something simple, but lovely as a gift, I went for a set of 4 notecards in a little holder made with the envelope punch board – really good for a starter stamper, or experienced stampers alike as something to make and keep or to give as a lovely gift to someone.

Notelets and Holder

Here’s a close up of the holder – just so pretty, don’t you think? I’d like to give a big shout out to Fiona Whitten my fellow demo who gave me the inspiration and instructions for the holder, the card’s were ones I spotted on various Pinterest posts.
