Hi and welcome to my weekly Sunday blog post, today we’re venturing into Jurassic Park! Don’t worry though, it won’t be scary, just a lot of fun! It might just be me, but as soon as I saw the Botanical Garden Suite in the new Spring / Summer Catalogue (pgs 26-27) I immediately thought – I want to mix that up with No Bones About It stamp set and come up with a Jurassic Park card! I sometimes worry about how my brain works! Something about those large leaves scream jungle and heat and dinosaurs! Don’t worry, you don’t HAVE to use them this way, but for kids or adults who love a bit of dino then this might appeal!

First off I used the beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP), to give me a jungle feeling background.  Then I stamped 2 dinosaurs out in the full background shape and then over stamped their bones! This is so easy because the stamps are Photopolymer which means you can see through them – so lining it all up was pretty easy going. I made a few different colours and then decided which ones I liked best for my card. I did fussy cut them out by hand, but it was soooo worth it and actually not that fussy!

Stamp the leaves or emboss some card using the matching card stock pack; then cut them out using the matching framelits (yay) and layer it up. Voila! A card that would work for a kiddies or mans birthday I think! Let me know what you think below.
