Once upon a time, there was a children’s party to get ready for, and I needed some easy craft projects to help me make their goody bags and sweet treat table favours! Sound familiar at this time of year? Well the good news is that this story has a happy ever after ending, courtesy of Stampin’ Up! and their new Popcorn Box die by Sizzix.
What you need for Easy Craft Projects – Popcorn Box
You will need 2 strips of card stock 10.5 cm wide and 15 cm long to cut out the main body of the box, plus some scraps of coordinating Glimmer paper or patterned paper of your choice. Here I used Thick Baker’s Twine and the stamp is from the matching Ready to Pop stamp set. The one below I added a few more bits on and added some of the Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon instead of the Baker’s Twine. I tucked the Happy Birthday tag behind the ribbon and added some enamel stars – these are great for boys or girls!
Stick the box pieces together, decorate with the extra cut bits and you’re done! I love easy craft projects that come together perfectly because the hard work of the template is done for me in the form of a die. Look at all the bits you get with this set.
If you buy the stamps and the dies you get 10% off the individual price, I’ve added a few bits to the product list so you can see what you might need – you’d get at least 48 out of a single pack of card stock, which is really great value when you’re budgeting for a party, you can fit sweeties or a small toy or of course popcorn inside them, perfect for a summer child’s party. I’ve shown options for both pink and blue, something for everyone!
