Welcome to my monthly thoughts on memory keeping. Today I’m sharing the fact that Project Life by Stampin’ Up! cards are not just for scrapbooking or memory keeping, oh no – you can use them for so much more!
Here’s a couple of cards I have made using the Hello Lovely Card Collection (my favourite) and below are some more ideas from the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. It just shows you how versatile these Card Collections can be.
Not just for Scrapbooking
That means that you can do a bit of memory keeping, maybe for a special event or holiday and then use the rest of your cards to make greetings or occasions cards, nothing goes to waste and you don’t feel like you have to use them ALL in your album! After all, you get 100 cards, so there are a lot to use, and this way you don’t get so overwhelmed! I also used the stamps that come in the accessory pack to decorate the card to match the card collection images.
The colours match all the card stock we have – these are Soft Sky and Tangerine Tango Designer Series Paper. I used the Hostess Set Time of Year for the Birthday banner, but you can also use Thoughtful Banners with the Duet Banner punch, or Crazy About You words with the Bunch of Banners Framelit dies. You can also just stamp directly onto the cards!
Here’s what Artisan Design Team member Joyce Fowler did with some of the cards from the Hello Lovely Card Collection.
So, as you can see – they really are not just for scrapbooking! Unless you want them to be – in which case, they’re lovely for that too! Happy Thursday and have a great weekend – I’ll be back Sunday for some more news! Look out for updates on Saturday from my World Cardmaking Day session! Crafty hugs, Pip x
