Today’s card is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from the Annual Catalogue (p. 29) and it caught my eye because it uses non traditional Christmas colours which I love paried with Flurry of Wishes stamps which I also love. This is the card in the catalogue.

And this is my design.

I decided to use this as a card design for one of my Simply Stylish card classes and the ladies did enjoy making something different to the traditional red and green. The matching Silver Glitter Ribbon comes from a combo pack which also includes a Sweet Sugarplum version too, but I thought the Silver picked out better with the Sweet Sugarplum background and so used that instead of the Washi tape shown in the catalogue. I also prefer a cleaner look to my Simply Stylish cards, so there was no spritzing!

I used Sweet Sugarplum and Wisteria Wonder, my new favourite Christmas combo colours. Having the matching Snow Flurry Punch means it’s easy to layer up snowflakes to give some depth and dimension too.

I masked off just part of the sentiment to use on this card.  I used some washi tape to cover the lines Be Filled with Wonder & Be Touched By Peace. You can then ink up the stamp as normal, but remember to remove the washi tape before stamping! Then you just get the words you want.
