Like what you see?

Good morning folks, it’s Thursday and behind door number 22 is… a Celebrate card idea for all occasions! This is a Simply Stylish card and I want to show you how I create this design in a step by step guide.

Here’s the finished card, so you can see what we’re aiming for.

When you make a card like this you’ll want to start off with the lace image at the side. This gives you a border and something to anchor all the other stamped images. Next I stamped the sentiment. It’s big, bold and once it’s in place you can ensure the other flowers can be placed around it without overlapping.

Now the sentiment is in place you can scatter the flowers accordingly above and below. Attach the ribbon and then tie the gold twine onto it for a finishing touch.

Celebrate Card Idea smallThe colours are Very Vanilla, Island Indigo (for the sentiment) and Bermuda Bay (for the flowers and base card) with Tip, Top Taupe for the lace border (and mat). This card was designed for a birthday, but as the ladies were making this card there was much debate about the many occasions it can be used for! I love it when a card can serve multiple occasions.

If you’d like to make this yourself, all the products are listed below. I’d love to see what occasions you make it for. Happy crafting, Pip x

p.s. You can get a special FREE gift as a thank you from me if you order online this December.
