Alaska Here We Come with the Achievers Blog Hop! Those hopping today are Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip. Only a limited number around the world achieve it every year, but it’s open to ALL demonstrators to aim for, which I love! You don’t have to be a Silver Elite, Gold Elite or any title, people have earned it in their very first year!

We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin’ Up!® products. This month, of course, many of us will be showing off items from the new Spring / Summer (Occasions) catalogue or the Sale-a-bration brochure! Such an exciting time in the Stampin’ Up! calendar. Alaska Here We Come

I’m particularly excited this month as we’ve finalised our flight plans and we’re on countdown to the BIG day! This trip has been a true bucket list item for over 10 years, ever since our best friends did almost the exact same itinerary. So we cannot wait! Not only that, we will be going the month after our 27th wedding anniversary! What better way to celebrate something this special than with the gorgeous new Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper and coordinating Heart Happiness stamp set. I shared a similar card Sunday night here.

Queen Pip Tip:

The stamped heart comes with the watercolour effect built in, you just need to ink and stamp. I recommend using the Pierce Mat under the cardstock when you stamp with photopolymer, it makes a huge difference. You need to use the mat because photopolymer stamps don’t have foam like red rubber stamps, and you need that slight “give” to get a great image. Using the foam Pierce Mat ensures you get just the right base to stamp onto.

This card will be my anniversary card to my hubby and then I’ll save it to pop in our Alaska album – Alaska Here We Come!
