Grown With Love is a beautiful set that’s sadly retiring. That’s not why I’m sharing it today though. Today you get to see how easy it is to use the template technique with the Stamparatus to really make stamping on die cuts easy! We’ve all done it, stamped an image and found it’s too big to be cut out with our framelits. We left just a little too much gap, or it just didn’t align correctly. Well I’m going to use this in class, so I want to fix it so that all my customers have a great stamping experience. So, I used the template idea from Stampin’ Up! and my Stamparatus to fix this once and for all!
Easy Die Cut Stamping with Grown With Love
Get your Grown With Love bundle out (did you know all bundles come with a 10% reduction off the individual priced items?) You will use the large Flower spray stamp and the pot. Plus you’ll need the Oval Layering framelits and the 2 small flowers from the Grown With Love framelits.
First you do need to work out what size oval you need for your stamp. In this case it’s the largest one. Next cut out the oval from a piece of card – this is your template. Just make sure it will fit on your Stamparatus. Pop it onto your Stamparatus base & secure with a magnet.
Next, stamp the top section of flowers on a new piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut out with the largest oval making sure the flowers are right at the top of the oval.
Queen Pip Tip
Then you’re going to get that flower pot positioned just right. So with some scratch paper under your template, work out where the pot needs to stamp. The pot remains on the Stamparatus plate. I can use the new Shammy to clean it too! (coming soon).
Now you know where the pot will stamp, you just pop the die cut stamped piece into the template, ink up your pot & stamp! How easy is that?
This is a card from my next Simply Stylish card class, and it uses 2 of the new coming In Colours – Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch. Gorgeous aren’t they? If you are local enough to come, why not book in now – it’s easy, secure and you can choose to pay up front or on the day.
If you can’t come along, why not buy the Grown With Love bundle and if you have a Stamparatus give it a try at home. Or buy the bundle now and then purchase the Stamparatus when it becomes available 1st June! You’ve not long to wait now! Then you too can have easy die cut stamping with Grown With Love!! Don’t forget when you purchase a Bundle you get 10% off the individual priced items, so you save money too. A fab all round win!
