Welcome to Thursday’s edition of my blog! I’m sharing my Timeless Tidings Window Frame Card Idea. This came to me as I was playing with another stamp set. I decided it would work best with Timeless Tidings. So here it is my final blog instalment of Timeless Tidings postings. Did you see my video yesterday? It’s a build up week here for me, as my retreat starts tomorrow!! Well the first one does, then we repeat it all again the weekend after! Yes October is a crazy month for me!! So let’s focus on one thing at a time!
Timeless Tidings Window Frame Card Idea
I call it a window frame card, but really it could also be a picture frame card too. The Layering Square Framelits are ideal for creating any sort of opening, or backing for a topper, but they are also great at being a feature themselves. Here the Cherry Cobbler layer stands out & creates a real sense that you’re looking through something – even though you know it’s a flat card!
The tree is delicate and just a little scruffy I think. I love it! Plus the words fitted the Pretty Label punch perfectly, winner!!! So easy again, but this card does need you to have a Big Shot or other die cutting machine. You can do the frames by hand, but I don’t recommend it unless you are great with a craft knife!
