Hello, today I’m showing you 3 cards with Feather and Frost. One features the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers which I’ve been showcasing all week long! I’ve also fallen in love with the new Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper. Even though it’s not your normal Christmas paper it works well with these stamps. Finally, I couldn’t resist using them for a monochrome Christmas Card with some extra special shimmer and sparkle!
3 Cards With Feather And Frost
This first card uses the new Silver framed card bases from Stampin’ Up! You get 20 in a pack for quick, stylish, lush card bases. The card features the Frosted Floral papers, which are pearlised on both sides so you have 12 beautiful patterns to choose from without losing the shimmer. I am so thankful that Stampin’ Up! gave us some beautiful Robbins for this year’s Christmas cards. Being our national bird and the one that represents Christmas we have asked for these little fellas and here they are!
2 little Robbins coloured using my new Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend, this is a new colour this year and captures the orange / red of a Robbin redbreast perfectly!!
Embossing & Frosting Techniques
Finally, some Frosted White Shimmer Paint stamping, paired with White heat embossing and Glittered Organdy ribbon! Finished off with some beautiful frosted gems! What’s not to love with this elegant card? You do need some extra tools to make this card, like a heat tool and some Versamark ink, but it’s well worth the investment when you see what can be achieved.
