Today I’m sharing my Snow Is Glistening Thank You Cards. These are all ready to go in the post for all my lovely customers who ordered this past week. I have some for this month too. They are just so pretty! All stamped with the new Snow Is Glistening stamp set coming 1st November – that’s this Thursday!
Snow Is Glistening Thank You Cards
They’re so easy to make too, just 2 colours of ink and some Whisper White card. I stamped the block of falling (or collecting) snow flakes in Highland Heather. Then go back in with the smallest of the large snowflakes and use first and second generation stamping. That means you ink the stamp and stamp it then, before cleaning, stamp it again. You get a paler layer of ink but still a good image. It’s a cool technique to add depth.
Then fill in with the tiniest snowflake stamp again 2 generation stamping. Ooooh pretty!
Make the sentiment with Background Stamping
Stamp some spare card all in 2nd generation stamping and punch out with the 1 3/8″ scalloped punch. Add the Sentiment in Coastal Cabana and punch out a 1 1/2″ circle in the matching card stock.
Layer the circles and add a bit of striped ribbon. You are done!
I did 18 in one hit, I can always go back and do more depending on how many I need!
