I really couldn’t wait to share this video with you today. You know that Shaun loves ferns and his birthday is coming up, so of course I had to use the new Daisy Lane stamp set. I was so pleased how these gorgeous heat embossed ferns turned out for his birthday card! Using the 3 different colour metallics is actually really easy if you take it step by step. Plus it didn’t take as long as you’d think. All I cut out was the actual heat embossing bit, and my video is only 15 minutes long!

As a result, I came up with 2 different version of this card. One I can use for an anniversary, or as a just because card, and the other for his birthday when we’re away! How cool is that?

Below I’ve shared the basic products you need for the cards I’ve used in these cards. Now some people might think I’m daft sharing these since the powders are currently not available. However, I know you all have stashes of metal coloured embossing powders at home so you can still play with this! Why not try different colours and see what happens?
