I know, Dashing Deer and Ice Skates have nothing in common and is a very random title! However, I wanted to share my video where I made one of each card. So I thought this title was explanatory at least! The Dashing Deer card is what you see here and you can see the Ice Skates one using, Free Skate and the matching bundle, on the video.
Dashing Deer and Ice Skates
Check out how to make a 2 design background card with Dashing Deer and me having fun with skates again!
The colours just pop on both cards, one very traditional and one certainly not! I love mixing it up with colours for Christmas. Using the 2 different background papers on the Dashing Deer card lifts the piece visually. It also gives you a reason to use the gorgeous gold trim ribbon! You can try this background mix with any card for any occasion. Consequently, it’s one I keep in my “go-to” design book., that way I don’t forget to use it! After all, he’s such a beautiful stag that he needs showing off well!
