NEW VIDEO tutorial with Ornate Style with Stampin’ Blends for my Water & Ink series part 5. Now we are motoring through all these wonderful ways of using inks and water. Today it’s all about alcohol markers. No water here, just ink & alcohol, but not of the drinking variety!! Unless you want to – but then your colouring may get a bit wonky! Hahaha

Ornate Style with Stampin’ Blends

This video is a mash-up of my Facebook Live Moody Monday from the other week and an intro all about the brilliant Stampin’ Blends. I hope it works! These are a great part of the Stampin’ Up! colour and ink family. They give the smooth blending of colour for that almost printed look. Ombre, punchy, bold and bright, or subtle spots of colour. You can do all this with your Stampin’ Blends.

I loved using pinks and blues for this Ornate Style stamp set. The suite is set up with oranges, yellows and greens, but I wanted to do something different. I think it works beautifully and shows that you can mix up your stamps with other colours which brings more value to your craft room.

I love how the Ornate Layer dies set off this piece just perfectly. It looks like a framed bunch of flowers! How cute is that?
