Book your craft retreat place now! Yes, this is a post telling you to book in now! Why? Because places are selling out FAST! This is our first Retreat back In Person for nearly 3 years and people are loving that fact!
I’ve been running Retreats since 2015 at various venues, but then you know the world kinda fell apart! But now we’re BACK! I love my retreats either my one day or weekend versions. I love them online but I especially love them in person! Why? Because of the hugs and the chatter and the community. The learning from each other, the catching up and the laughs.
There’s nothing quite like a craft retreat to bring people together. You don’t have to be local either, people come from all over the country to meet up in our craft retreats! Let me give you a bit more information!
This year you have 2 different In Person Retreats available to book – a Summer One Day retreat and a Christmas Weekend Retreat.
To keep the prices down none of them include accommodation.
What do they include?
I’m glad you asked! My retreats are about teaching you fun designs & projects. Plus I provide you with the materials you need to complete all the project classes. I run a class each morning & afternoon so you have plenty to do!
You get PDF tutorials to follow on the day, plus I record videos so you can watch them back when you get home, in case you don’t finish.
Goody Bags
So you get a stuffed goody bag filled with:
- Stampin’ Up! stamps, dies, papers, cardstock, ribbons & embellishments!
- Everything you need to complete the projects with masses of stuff to take home too!
- Printed PDF Tutorials
- Access to Online website with videos & online PDF versions too
Do I Need Anything Else?
All projects are within the grasp of a beginner or a confident card maker, but you will need some tools to attend:
- Paper Trimmer / guillotine
- Scissors / Paper Snips
- Adhesives (I also provide an Adhesives Shop for the retreats in case you run out)
- Bone Folder
- Take Your Pick (pick up tool)
- Die cutting machine
- Clear Blocks to mount your stamps on
- Inks to match the projects (I tell you these in advance)
- Scrub or Shammy (stamp cleaners)
- Anything YOU fancy using on your Projects (like Wink of Stella – glitter brush)
Everything else I provide and you can always purchase anything you need via my online store. I do bring some duplicate inks, but it’s better for you to have your own for speed – plus you’ll want to make these projects again at home!
Location
This year we are at the Holiday Inn, Farnborough, Hampshire. It’s easy to get to via the M3, A3 or direct from Waterloo station to Farnborough Main. Lunch is included in both retreats along with unlimited tea, coffee, and refreshments!
Open to everyone over the age of 18 who loves card making. If you are brand new please see the list of items you’ll need above before booking. I’m on hand throughout the event to help, but you do need to have some basic understanding of card making & a willingness to learn. That’s it! Nothing more.
Look forward to enjoying your own table to yourself. I don’t believe in cramping your card making, so everyone has a table to use all day/weekend. This means you can spread out & not feel elbows or narrow table spaces to work in.
2022 Pricing
The price includes everything above and covers my time to create the classes and be there with you on the day. Plus I might throw in a few surprises, like pillow gifts for everyone! Oops, spoiler alert!
One Day Retreat price is £139 and the Weekend Retreat price is £319.
Remember no accommodation overnight is included, but the price includes the hotel space for the event – our own private room which is dedicated to us for the duration, plus lunch & refreshments.
Spaces are limited because I want to give my time to you all equally, there are a maximum of 24 spaces per event and they sell out fast!

Retreat Cancellation Policy
If the past few years have taught us anything it’s that stuff can happen & things can change! I try to have an open & transparent cancellation policy and have confirmed what will happen in the event of another lockdown situation. Please ensure you also cover your travel costs with insurance where necessary. I run my business alone, and should anything happen to me, I too may need to reschedule things – hopefully, that won’t happen, but I like to be upfront about it.
If You Cancel:
You may cancel at any time up until the closing date of each event which can be found on the booking pages for each event.
Your deposit is non-refundable and holds your place until payment is due. Should payment not be made your space will be forfeit. Refunds after the closing date are not possible in full as I purchase the products & pay the hotel at this point.
If for any reason you cannot attend the retreats then I provide the following services:
- Online guests will receive your Retreat Goody Box as normal & full access to the videos, tutorials and Facebook Group.
- In Person guests, you’ll have the ability to attend the online version (if not yet held) or receive access to the webpage with all the details, tutorials & PDFs so you can complete your projects at home. Your Retreat Goody Bag can be shipped to you for an additional cost or you can collect it if you live locally. No refunds are possible after the closing date as monies are paid to the hotel.
No refunds after the payment closing date will be given as you will still receive the benefits outlined above.
If I Cancel:
If for any reason I am unable to run the Retreat in person, due to sickness, accident, or death I will attempt to provide a substitute tutor where possible. However, there may be some circumstances in which I may need to reschedule dates accordingly. In the event of my death the estate will pay refunds less outlayed costs where possible – but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that!
The hotel has confirmed that should a Government lockdown occur they will reschedule the event without loss of payment. Please take this into consideration when booking your own accommodation and ensure you have insurance cover.
