Welcome! Today is Stampin With Friends day and I’m showing you how to make EASY Birthday Cards for friends and family. This is my monthly video and blog hop with my friend Katina Martinez, so once you’ve checked out all my designs, hop over and see hers too!
How to Make Easy Birthday Cards
Friends come in all shapes, sizes, and one size does not fit all when making cards for them. But the fundamentals of making any card remain the same.
You will need:
- A card base
- Some elements for the top (could be papers, stamps & ink, embossed or die cut pieces).
- Some words (perhaps numbers)
- And of course, some bling to sparkle it all up!
I’m sharing all the cards I got for my own birthday in this video today, and I’m showing you how to make a simple birthday card you can step up or down as you wish (depending on how important the person or birthday is!)
Using the Gold Acetate lifts these cards to the next level & gives that bling in a different way!
Watch The Step By Step Video
You can see how I made these cards AND you’ll get a bunch of other card ideas too. 12 different birthday card ideas this month (I couldn’t hold them all up!)! AND that’s before you watch Katina too!
Did you love them?!?! Which was your favourite?
