Fun Christmas Cards To Make

Watch the Facebook Live below for the additional 4 card designs. I’ve done them really simply and finally stepped up for someone who has a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. This set works for all levels of card maker, whether you’re brand new or an avid maker like me!

Remember this is a Facebook Live, so it’s not as good quality as my prerecorded videos, but it’s fun!

The 3 other designs you can see here are more towards the avid card maker who has a die cutting machine, but they’re still easy and fun Christmas cards to make. None of them take forever, which is what you want at Christmas. They use the Freezin’ Fun Bundle – stamps & dies together with a 10% discount.

Measurements – Metric

Most of my cards follow pretty standard layouts, with a card base, base layer and top layer. Sometimes I then add on additional elements, but the fundamentals are the same.

  • Card base A5 folded in half (A5 is half of an A4 – so cut in half at 14.9 cm and then turn & score at 10.5 cm this gives you a standard size card base)
  • Base layer 14.4 x 10 cm
  • Top layer 13.9 x 9.5 cm

The different colouring techniques shown use either ink and a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush, or our fabulous Stampin’ Blends range. You can get Stampin’ Blends in almost every single Stampin’ Up! colour and they are well worth it. Professional quality, easy colouring that’s blended and smooth.

This stampset is a firm favourite of mine and Shaun will definitely be getting a Penguin Christmas card – they’re his favourite too! But hey, maybe your favourites are the rabbits or purple racoons! Which of the designs do you prefer? COMMENT HERE and let me know. I love getting to know more about my crafty friends!!

Purchase the stamps alone if you don’t have a die cutting machine, or the bundle and save 10% off the stamps and dies!!
