I know this is a card making site! But guess what? I do believe journaling is good for you & your soul. Today I’m featuring a fellow creative from over the water, Danielle Fraher. She’s a self-confessed coffee-dependent mom of 4 (wow!) in New Jersey who enjoys journaling, decorating, and all things teal! She runs a journaling group and associated website for mums.
Why am I featuring Danielle?
Don’t I sell products to make cards? Well, yes, but guess what, you can add stamps to your journals too! In fact, I’ve made journals in the past myself. Big journals with photos in are called scrapbooks, hahaha!
But I love what Danielle says about the benefits (10 of them) of journaling. You can read her blog post in full below.

Do you know there are an insane amount of benefits to journaling including easing anxiety, clarifying your thoughts, increasing productivity and so much more?
Danielle Fraher
Doesn’t that sound a lot like card making too? Well, yes it does, because both things are creative, and I believe can go hand in hand. I’ve often told how I used to get up early and make a card before heading into my Corporate job. Why did I do myself out of 30 minutes of sleep? Because I found that making the card cleared my head for the day, set me up in a positive mood and I was so much more productive during the day!
Why not try making a card or journaling before work & see what happens!
If you don’t want to make your own journal from scratch, it’s still great to add your own cover images or decorations! The Poppy Moments dies are perfect for this! Paired with the Peaceful Moments stamp set you can also make them into beautiful gifts!
Gratitude is so powerful that when practiced often enough you eventually train your brain to see the good in everything – you become more optimistic.

Journaling Is Good For You!
In conclusion, having read all 10 of Danielle’s benefits, I have to agree with them all. If you don’t have time to stamp, journal! If you have time to stamp, then make cards & give them away. This also helps with your well-being. Doing good things, makes you feel good too! I call it my double dip of happy! I think the combination of both journaling and stamping is the best of both worlds! I’d love to hear YOUR thoughts on this subject. So, please COMMENT BELOW! Thanks, Danielle too for your brilliant 10 Benefits to Journaling.
Thanks for reading, crafty hugs, Pip x
