Hello everyone, I’ve suddenly realised it’s Saturday night and I haven’t written my blog post yet – oops! That’s what happens when I spend all day crafting and creating for my class next weekend!
So a really quick post this week, and I promise to catch up with lots of goodies next week.
I wanted to share with you the brilliant Happy Watercolour stampset, I’ve been using this set with my Stampin’ Up! Parties this month and I LOVE it. I first saw this set in a sneak peak at Convention last November, and the thing that caught my eye most was the amazingly clever way Stampin’ Up! designers have managed to capture the look of watercolour without the need to actually watercolour.
The image behind the poppy is a STAMP isn’t that clever? There is a little one too, plus great words and 2 beautiful flowers all for just £21.95 clear mount – which I think is a bargain.
So far all my party goers have agreed, they like this set. I’m sure I’ll be using it more in the future because I just think it’s so versitile.
Next week is my Sold Out Special Event where the ladies will be making either a set of cards and case/box or the Burlap & Blooms Wreath or both (well they won’t get both done, but they’ll get the products and the instructions), I’m really excited because I have a whole Blooms theme going on, along with some clever Big Shot work – I think the girls will approve – I’ll share the projects next week and let you know – my only concern … hot glue guns for the wreaths! May need some E45 cream to help soothe any sore fingers.
Have a very happy, crafty week, thanks Pip
Pip I love this and also the other flower in the set which looked beautiful coloured in on your display board the other week. (if only I knew a demonstrator who could tell me how it’s done hint hint….)
Hi Claire, well if you come to my Watercolour and Wetlands Technique Class in May you could find out 🙂
Ooh when is it??
Hi Claire – it’s Saturday the 10th May – you can find all my classes listed by clicking on Classes in the Menu bar – it takes you to a calendar of each month & shows the dates – but I haven’t put up that it’s specifically for Watercolour & Wetlands – but it will be 🙂 Thanks, Pip
