Spooky Fun for Halloween with Emma Palmer

Like what you see?

Happy Halloween! What Spooky Fun are you up to today? Me, not a lot as we don’t really celebrate this holiday. I have to say though I really love looking at all the cute projects people make.

I think Stampin’ Up! got inspired this year because they’ve conjured up some spooky fun easily with the coordinating papers, framelits, punches and stamps! I love that you can stamp the owl on the paper. Or why not punch out the cats? Alternatively you can stamp the cat and use the new cat punch to get a puuurrrrfect cat shape every time!

As you know I do love the treat tubes that you can buy and decorate. They are so easy to make look really special. You can do the same with the little acetate treat boxes too! They’re great for small gifts that people give this time of year!

My newest teamie (Royal Stampers team), Emma Palmer, wanted to do something special for Halloween, so she mixed the perfect ingredients in her Starter Kit potion.  Just look what she made!! Aren’t they just fabulous? Her “mum” friends couldn’t believe she’d made them herself – and I’m not surprised. They look so professional – don’t you agree? I can’t wait to see what she makes for Christmas gifts & cards with her next order of products!

Queen Pip Tips:

Stamp out your images first, as Emma has done here, then use the punch to crop the image. It’s so much easier to line up the outline when the stamping is already done.  This cat image really shows off how good it will look!

I love that she staged her gifts at her friends house too! Just totally brilliant. No wonder some of them thought they were shop bought!!

Emma shows that with just some coordinating inks and paper you can get the puuurfect combination that looks amazing! I am in awe of her fussy cutting too – just look how great those owls & hat are!!

I’d love to hear what you think of these projects, so please leave a COMMENT BELOW.

So while it might be a bit too late to order for THIS Halloween, you can always grab these supplies now for next year. I think it also shows how you can tailor YOUR starter kit to be whatever YOU want to make. Then you get 20% discount (pre VAT) on all future purchases for your next projects. I can’t wait to see what Emma is up to next! If you’d like to replicate Emma’s Starter Kit then I’ve listed the products below. You can purchase them or add them to your OWN Starter Kit and become a teamie too! You get to choose up to £130 worth of products for just £99! A bargain anyway you look at it!

A big thanks to Emma for letting me share her first work with you. Happy Halloween to those who enjoy. Happy Samhain to those who celebrate. For the rest of us – roll on Christmas!!
