I think you’d like to be painted with love for your birthday! I certainly would! In this case I’m talking about Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! It’s a beautiful set of papers and I’ve teamed it with Heart Happiness (again!) I was on a roll and made so many cards with just this one image. There are lots and lots of other stamps in this set, which I will get to use next!

As I’ve mentioned before though I don’t do a lot of Valentines or “love” cards, so this time I made it into a Birthday Card. I used the wording from Birthday Celebrations because it also has a quirky look which I love.

There is so much gold on this paper, it’s really luxurious. I feel though that you can always have just a little more, so I added some Gold Foil leaves and some Gold Embossing too! Is Heat Embossing your favourite technique too? If not what is? Tell me by leaving a COMMENT HERE, I love to read and answer them!

Adding some looped ribbon is really on trend right now, so give it a go! Here I used just some Metallic Thread and Whisper White Sheer Ribbon.
