Today I’m sharing my jazzy waterfront beach huts card made, of course, with the fabulous Waterfront stamp set. I’ve wanted to do a class with this set since it was launched in the Spring / Summer catalogue back in January this year, but it took me until July to realise my dream! Just too many other things to work with before then. Saturday however, we had a wonderful relaxed, creative and fun class looking at scene building. It’s so easy to make different scenes with the Waterfront stamp set, but the minute I saw it, I wanted to make some funky beach huts in my favourite colours!!

So here they are. Aren’t they just gorgeous? You can, of course, make them any colour you want. So if your favourite colour is red or yellow or even grey you can do that. That’s the pleasure and joy of a hand made card, they are whatever we want them to be!

Queen Pip Tip

For the background I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, to give the impression of the wood the beach huts are made of! Setting the image off centre allowed the background to be seen nicely and give a slightly different look to the card. Funky, like my Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape beach huts!!
