Country Home Card

Country Home is one of the Autumn / Winter stamp sets that is carrying forward and not retiring with the end of the catalogue. I am really pleased about this because it’s taken me this long to get my hands on a set and to play with it! Now of course, I’m in love and can see me using it a lot more in the coming months. It’s very easy to position because it’s made of photopolymer. There are some beautiful images and words as well, along with a few more “US” words that you may or may not like to use. I don’t mind that, I have US friends, but also I feel I can always make something out of pretty much any saying!

This card uses Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Grey Granite colours which work beautifully together. They’re really rich but also tangy with that Mango touch. The woodgrain paper is from the Festive Farmhouse designer series paper pack, but you could use wood grain papers too from the Annual catalogue.

Brand New Basics – Episode 2

This series of Facebook Live videos are a chance for me to go back to the basics for those who are brand new to card making, stamping, Stampin’ Up! or me! They help you with some things you may not actually know, or just act as a refresher if you do. Some people get so used to using a tool they forget other people don’t know what it is or what it does! I wanted to make sure everyone new to me and card making had a chance to learn the basics too! Episode 1 Stamps and Ink (part 1) is up on my You Tube Channel too. I added the Thanks tag after the show because I felt I’d gone on long enough! I’m not sure if I prefer it with or without, but if you want to add it on, you will need the Classic Label punch.
