I know, we’re not really through the Christmas holidays, but today Spring is in the air with the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop. We are sharing some new designs, stamps, papers, ribbons. All coming up items from the Spring / Summer catalogue and Sale-a-bration! Welcome if you’re joining me Pip Todman from Ash Vale, UK whether you’re new to me or a regular! I’m so pleased my friend BJ Peters is joining us from the US this month too! To navigate our hop, just use the link list at the bottom of each blog post.
I hope you like my creation today. I decided to use the Butterfly Beauty thinlits to create a framed piece. You could give this as a birthday gift or pop it on your shelf at home to brighten everyday!
Spring Is In The Air
I always think of butterflies when I think of spring, because they herald the start of the flowers and the heady scents of spring and summer to come. This set of dies immediately called to me when I saw them in the catalogue. I added some splatters from the Beauty Abounds stamp set that forms part of a bundle with the dies. Finish with a few sequins and that’s it. Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape were the colours I chose for my frame.
I wanted to create a piece that you could translate into a card as well. Here you can also see how I did that! This time I went for Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick! This bundle is so easy to make gorgeous things with.
It’s a wonderful time of the year for crafters like us. You are in the post Christmas slump and then you get showered with new pretty things to play with! Special offers abound! I cannot wait to share more with you on the 3rd January when everything will be available to you! In the meantime, why not hop around the team and see what other creations have been inspired by Spring is in the air?!
