The other week I shared some Brightly Gleaming Baubles sharing some luxury heat embossed cards. Today I’m sharing Brightly Gleaming 2 ways. Just like I showed you the heat embossing, today I’m showing you some dry embossing. I’ve created 2 cards both the same, but different! The biggest thing I’m struggling with this catalogue is getting the right name for things – this is actually using the Christmas Gleaming bundle (stamps and punches), but because it’s part of the Brightly Gleaming Suite, I just call it all the same!
First up you can see my heat embossed version, this time I’ve focused on Real Red, which is a colour that just shouts Christmas to me. I pair this with Old Olive because it again is so great with Christmas projects. Next, I recreated the card using the new Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder. You might have missed this folder, because it’s hidden in the Halloween section. I know not everyone does Halloween, but this folder is worth looking for.

Watch the video and see how easy it is to create something beautiful whether you use heat embossing or dry embossing.
The colours just pop even though it’s a subtle look with the dry embossed version. Using the Wink of Stella to colour the leaves really lifts the piece visually. You can use a different ribbon or embossing folder if you prefer. Also, don’t forget to change your colours and see which you prefer. Even though this looks fabulous in Real Red and Old Olive, I think it would look great in Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce!
