Retreat Terms & Conditions

If the past few years have taught us anything it’s that stuff can happen & things can change! I try to have an open & transparent set of terms & conditions which include a cancellation policy. As unlikely as another lockdown is, we have to cater for that too these days. Please ensure you also cover your travel costs with insurance where necessary. I run my business alone, and should anything happen to me, I too may need to reschedule things – hopefully, that won’t happen, but I like to be upfront about it.

If You Cancel:

You may cancel at any time up until the closing date of each event which can be found on the booking pages for each event.

In Person Events:

Your deposit is non-refundable and holds your place until payment is due. Should payment not be made your space will be forfeited. Refunds for the balance after the closing date are not possible as I purchase the products & pay the hotel at this point.

Paper Party Events:

Your booking secures your place, however, you may cancel with a full refund up until the closing date of the event. 

If for any reason you cannot attend the events then I provide the following services:

  • In Person guests, you’ll have the ability to receive access to the tutorials & PDFs so you can complete your projects at home. Your Retreat Goody Bag can be shipped to you for an additional cost or you can collect it if you live locally. No refunds are possible after the closing date as monies are paid to the hotel & products purchased.
  • Paper Party guests, your card kits and cut paper packs will be shipped to you in any event. All resources are provided digitally and are available on replay so you may catch up at your own pace. 

No refunds after the event/payment closing date will be given as you will still receive the benefits outlined above.

If I Cancel:

If for any reason I am unable to run the In Person Retreat in person, due to sickness, or accident I will attempt to provide a substitute tutor where possible (Allison Rushin is my deputy). However, there may be some unforeseen circumstances in which I may need to reschedule dates. I reserve the right to do so, but will carry any cost charged by the hotel for the event days themselves (not accommodation).

In the event of my death at any point prior to the event date, the estate will pay refunds less any outlay costs as soon as possible – but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that! If it does, please be aware my husband will be dealing with my death as well as all business issues, so please be gentle.

 

The hotel has confirmed that should a Government lockdown occur they will reschedule the event without loss of payment. However for all other eventualities please ensure you have insurance coverage in place for your travel and accommodation costs.
