Like what you see?

Good morning folks, here are 18 gorgeous card ideas to make! As promised a while back I’ve managed to load up the first 18 birthday cards I received this year for your viewing pleasure and crafty inspiration. I still have a way to go to get them all uploaded but I thought I’d share the first 18 with you.

If one of them is yours, please like, comment, re-pin and tell the world – because you’re all fantastic and they are all so beautiful.

I’m so pleased to be a part of the #ImBringingBirthdaysBack revolution that’s sweeping throughout the crafting world. Not heard of it? Well we are taking birthdays back from just being celebrated on social media and making people real birthday cards, to send to them in person so they can have them up on their shelves, mantelpieces, stick them in their planners or albums so they can really see and feel how much people love them.

Card Ideas to Make Botanical Builder Night of Navy BloomsWhile I love social media and it’s ability to bring people closer together at the click of the button, it means a lot more to receive a card that’s been handmade by someone just for me – who took the time to do that, and write me a message and actually put it in the post!

After all, isn’t that what we crafters are all about? Making something beautiful and giving it to someone we care about? I like to think so, and I’d like to give a massive big thank you and shout out to Shannon West of Stampin’ Up! for starting this revolution. I like the fact I send my cards out at the start of each month (yep more going out this week) so that everyone who’s birthday it is that month will have at least one card from me.

Why not join in the #ImBringingBirthdaysBack revolution yourself – start sending out more handmade cards and see what a difference it makes in the lives of your friends and family. Buy the stamp to join in the fun – click here or the image above to buy it.

Want to learn how to do this? Want to have a stash of cards always on hand? Why not come along to my Simply Stylish card classes in Ash Vale (Hants / Surrey borders) on the 4th Sunday (and the following Monday) every month! Book your place now by clicking this link to see all my events in August.

If you can’t come along in person, then watch out for my card tutorials, videos and step by step guides as I post them through out the month. Until then, crafty hugs, Pip x
