Like what you see?

I love getting ideas from our amazing Stampin’ Up! catalogues. I still think of them as Idea Books (as they were called when I first joined). There are some amazing creations in these pages, in this case five Thank You card ideas just waiting to be replicated! Here’s today’s Advent gift to you – they Layering Circle dies are now ON SALE! Reduced to just £25.60! Wow what a bargain!

Five Thank You Card IdeasOn pages 38 & 39 of the 2016-17 Annual Catalogue you can see the Thankful Thoughts suite of products. More ways of saying thank you than you can think of! The suite also features the 2016-2018 In-Colour Designer Series Paper pack, the Enamel Shapes, inks and Ribbon. On the right hand page, there is a gorgeous set of thank you notes (square cards) with matching envelopes made from the paper pack.

These really stand out to me as a brilliant way of creating five thank you card ideas without actually changing the design at all – they just use different colours in each card.

Five Thank You Card Ideas (well ok – only 3 here!)

Five Thank You Card Ideas group shot 1All my Flirty Flamingo and Emerald Envy had been used before I got this photo, but you get the idea! Stamp the greeting in the various inks onto Whisper White card stock and cut them out using the 3″ circle die. Use the retired Stapler to attach a bit of ribbon & sequin trim to the back. Using Dimensionals gives them a bit of lift, but not too much ensuring they’ll fit into the close fitting notecards envelopes. A few pretty bits and you’re done.

Using the Notecards and Envelope packs I created 20 cards in a couple of hours. All the stamping, die cutting and assembly. Which is fast work for me, especially when using sequin trim! These would make great Thank You cards for teachers gifts this Christmas. They’re bold, bright and different from just a Christmas Card. Here are all the product details, just click & shop.

Have fun, crafty hugs, Pip x
