Dreamy Dragonfly Designs

“Stamp like a dragonfly, sting like a bee.” It’s almost the same as Muhammad Ali’s motto, but much craftier. It does sum up what comes in this gorgeous stamp set with matching Thinlit bundle. I love the amazingly dreamy Dragonfly designs you can create with this stamp set. You can create the feeling of a lazy summer’s afternoon by a lake watching the dragonflies whizzing about.

dreamy dragonflies designsThis is a Two-Step Stampin’ set, which means you can combine individual stamps to create the final image you want in the colours you want. I stamped the outline in Pear Pizzazz and the fill in section in Pool Party to give a wonderful two tone effect on the body and wings. Blushing Bride and Pool Party for the spots and a hint of Wink of Stella for the wings to give them a sparkle! The stamps are Photopolymer so they are totally transparent for perfect image placement. You get a large dragonfly and a gorgeous fuzzy bee! Plus lots of sentiments and the spotty background. I wanted to use this card for someone who had been amazing, so I changed the sentiment to one from the new All Things Thanks stamp set again in Pool Party.

That’s not all!

dragonfly dreams bundle Best of all it’s a bundle with a matching set of thinlits – which have smaller dreamy dragonflies designs too! The Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer Bundle is just £42.25 which is almost at the Sale-a-bration FREE gift amount, so add some ink or cardstock and you could choose the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper which has also has some dreamy dragonfly designs. In fact, the paper was designed with this bundle in mind, so you know you get perfect coordination.

Hi, love the ‘thanks’ card with the dragonfly on it! Is that done using rolling the colour onto the card, like we did in a workshop with you, then a thinlit dragonfly & words on top? Think I will have to have a go at that again soon!
    Thanks,
Also love the lace doilies too!!

Thank you Ruth! No the dragonfly comes with a set of 2 stamps one solid and one outline detail. So you stamp the outline & then you stamp the inside with the solid colour stamp – it does look pretty doesn’t it? A spot of sponge brayering & then cutting it out would also work though beautifully! I too love the lace doilies!!!
