Today I’m sharing another Big on Birthdays Card Idea, as I promised I would. The card today was inspired by some recent thank you notelets I made. I love this Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. It is so reminiscent of Hello Lovely the card collection we had last catalogue for memory keeping. I did so much more with it than scrapbook, although I did use it almost exclusively for my Mediterranean Cruise album. The colours are so lush and bring the Mediterranean to mind. Greek flowers and colours with the south of France green. Italian design and chic dresses. Can you see it in your head? I can almost smell the olives and feel the heat!

So I wanted to bring a little piece of that loveliness into a birthday card. Once again using the Big on Birthdays stamp set and a little extra bling in the form of a Glitter Enamel Dot!

You need Pool Party and Old Olive ink to stamp with. An Old Olive card base with Whisper White cut to 14.4 x 10 and then cut a strip of paper 14.4 x 4 cm. Make the topper with Old Olive card 10.5 x 8 with a stamping layer of Whisper White that’s 10 x 7.5 so you get that lovely little border. Finish with your choice of colour Glitter Enamel Dot! You will find that a lot of the colours match nicely, but you probably won’t want the pink ones for this card.
