Like what you see?

I love the new Lace Embossing Folder. It’s a deep Dynamic Embossing Folder and works beautifully on all mediums. Look how it changes this plain piece of vellum into a parchment style masterpiece. One quick run through the Big Shot and it’s just gorgeous. I know it’s Valentine’s Day, but to be honest we don’t really celebrate it in our house, so I thought I’d share butterflies instead!!

Lace Embossing Folder With Vellum A very pretty way to add dimension and texture to your cards. I used some metallic brads to hold the vellum in place, with a few strategically placed glue dots. I love how the deep embossing hides the glue dot behind. As a result, it’s easier to use vellum in your projects for this lovely textured look.

With 3 butterflies from the ever popular Botanical Butterfly papers (which are still available as a Sale-a-bration offering) it looks spectacular. Sadly the ribbon has sold out, but you could swap out the card for Calypso Coral and use the matching Sheer ribbon instead. You could use any butterfly punch, die cut or paper trimmed by hand to give you the same effect. Or switch it up to Flowers and use the Pop of Petals bundle! Or use anything else you want!

Remember though, only use 1 cutting plate with the Big Shot or it’s too thick to go through your machine! Happy embossing folks!
