Free As A Bird is my sneak peek today for the Greek Isles Achiever blog hop. I’ve fallen in love with this stamp set, although at first I wasn’t sure at all! Welcome to our Blog Hop for this month. Free As A Bird Sneak Peek

This set is part of the new Bird Ballad suite, but I didn’t have any of the other elements of the suite, such as the papers, ribbons or embellishments when I made this card. Therefore I reached for one of my staple ribbons, the Burlap which I’m very happy to report is carrying over into the new catalogue.

This new set is designed for colouring in, so of course I got my Stampin’ Blends out!! I was chatting to a friend last week and we were trying to work out the number of different birds these could be. I think you’ll agree it could be almost anything in the sparrow or finch families? Colour them one way and they’re blue tits or chaffinches, but use browns and they’re sparrows! Consequently you can use them for so many different cards and occasions! Plus the sentiments include lots to send to your friends, with thanks in mind as well!
