Independent Demonstrator UK Each week I feature one of my wonderful team of Royal Stampers, all Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who love to share their creativity with others. I love seeing what they create and I want to share it with you all too, so, each week I will be welcoming a different designer from our amazing team.

This week our guest designer is Deb Cooper from PDQ Cards. Here is a link to Deb’s original post. It links to Deb’s website so you can look at her other beautiful creations.

Relax on Fathers Day

Father’s Day is just round the corner. Its time to celebrate the important men in our lives.
I’ve always struggled to make masculine cards. I admit it. I have lots of flowery, cute or funny stamp sets for the many women in my life, but when it comes to the boys the cupboard is fairly empty.
But not any more! In the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue there are a number of new stamp sets that embrace and rejoice our menfolk.
The one that immediately caught my eye was “A Good Man” which has some great relaxed images – no idea why the men in my family sprang immediately to mind!

To make the background a little more interesting I’ve used the subtle embossing folder. In this card I’ve only placed part of the background inside the folder so that it gives another area of interest. Consequently, I think it looks a little like he’s dipping his toes in the sea at the beach.

What a great Relax on Father’s Day card from Deb, I love how she’s offset the guy in the chair! This is so timely as well, because all week I’m focusing on A Good Man by giving you a week long tour of the stamp set! I think you’re going to love it even more by the end of the week!
