This stunning card is actually a no bird Bird Ballad card! There isn’t a bird in sight, but it all comes from the Bird Ballad papers and stamps. Plus a bit of Hugs from Shelli snuck in there! I am so chuffed how this came out and I like my video version too! Mostly, I am such a simple card maker normally, but I felt like doing something a bit more detailed, and this is what happened!

No Bird Bird Ballad

I know what you are thinking, and initially I was a bit daunted by the thought of doing some fussing cutting too. Then I got into the colouring and afterwards the cutting came naturally!  When you compare the two I made, they look so different, despite using the same colours and stamps!

You do need a brilliant, sharp, pair of scissors. I have found the best pair I’ve ever owned are the Paper Snips also available from Stampin’ Up! They are sharp right to the point, and they work for both right and left handed crafters!
