Today Stampin’ Creative is giving you a blast of In Colour love!! So, I decided to design some Free As A Bird In Colour cards! Free As A Bird In Colour Cards

These cards almost designed themselves, they certainly didn’t start out as a set. I started with the Terracotta Tile version, and as I was thinking about what I could do for this hop it came to me I could just duplicate it! The difficulty is, of course, that we don’t have Purple Posy ink, however it works great with Highland Heather. Since I am only using it for the words, it doesn’t matter too much that it’s slightly different! I can’t wait to actually get the ink that matches with this ribbon and card though!

Can you spot that each card has one of the sentiments on from Free as a Bird, isn’t it handy there are 5 slim ones to choose from! It also means I can use each of the cards to say something different to each person I give one to.

I seem to have embraced fussy cutting with this set. Here I am again cutting out the little birds to sit over the ribbon, but there needed to be something on that side of the card! I think the small birds on the branch are looking at the bigger one, don’t you? The Seaside Spray is currently my favourite, just in case you were wondering!
