You asked me how I made my Sailing Home wall hanging piece here. So, I decided to make a video to show you. This time I made a door hanging with Let It Ride. The process is exactly the same, so you can choose which to make, depending what sets you prefer. This hanging is dedicated to my sister who loved horse riding. When she lived in Brussels she owned half a horse and I love my memories of riding horses with her over the years.

Stamp Out Cancer Stamp-a-thon

If you’ve not heard, I’m doing a sponsored Stamp Out Cancer Stamp-a-thon this September in her memory. It will raise funds for the hospital where she was treated, our local breast care centre and Breast Cancer Now.  I want to raise £2,100, to provide the products and cash too! I’m challenging us to make 1,500 cards and to donate £1,500 in cash. Rachie died 15 years ago so, 1500 seems right! Although, looking at the logistics I’m slightly worried we won’t make it! Door Hanging With Let It Ride

So that is why it didn’t take me long to decide to use the Let It Ride stamp set for today’s video. Watch and see how easy it is to create something beautiful for your home.

These cute little door hangings are my new favourite home decor project. They’re easy to make. Look great and you can also make them specifically for people. If you have someone who loves horses this one is perfect. But if your mum loves the sea how about this one?

I love the new Crackle Paint stamp set I’ve got, it makes some great distressed looks for your plaques and great to add just a touch of depth to your sentiments.
