Wildly Happy Bunny Rabbits

The Wildly Happy bunny rabbits are sooooo cute! This card was originally for a challenge with the criteria Precious Pets. We do have the Nine Lives and Happy Tails stamp sets with the coordinating Cat and Dog punches but I wanted to share some more colouring. The Wildly Happy bunny rabbits are stamped with Versamark on the Whisper White card layer before colouring with the Watercolor Pencils in Basic Black and Basic Gray.

The Versamark on Whisper White is quite faint and slightly hard to see so I will probably use a light ink pad next time. I concentrated on where the shadows would be and used Aqua Painters to drag and blend the colours out. The other colours I used were Pacific Point and Old Olive which also comes from the same Watercolor Pencils set. As I went further up the card, I applied the Pacific Point more lightly for the background. This allowed the blending out of the edges with the Aqua Painter more easily.

I have kept the card simple to keep the focus on the bunny rabbits. To finish, I did add random clusters of white dots with the Chalk Marker and finished with the Heart Epoxy Droplets.

I must say Jay is a master at watercolouring, it’s that Fine Arts training and just plain natural talent!! I love this card, it’s simple but stunning at the same time. If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin’ Up! items used for this project, click on the product photos below.
