Easy Silhouettes With The Stamparatus

Like what you see?

Last weekend it was my WOW class where I showed how to make easy silhouettes with the Stamparatus. The whole class was about silhouettes and what you can do with some blending tools.  Like the Sponge Brayers and Sponges from Stampin’ Up!. You need some ink and our Shimmery White card stock and you too can make beautiful, magical, and almost mystical cards. You don’t have to be an artist to do this. There are lots of ways to brayer up your card stock, but I think I just found my favourite! Certainly people seemed to get the hang of it quicker this time around because of this new brayer action!

Watch the video and see how to create your own easy silhouettes with the Stamparatus, or your own personal stamping tool. The trick is to get that beautiful gradient background first. The colours just merge into each other, and it’s easy with the Shimmery White card stock because it has a coated layer. This means the ink glides over it. Plus it has that gorgeous shimmer locked into the core, which just adds that extra sparkle to your project.

The black makes a bold statement and while some people might think this is a bit dark and would previously have seen it as a sympathy card, these days they are very popular as more whimsical and magical cards. Especially if you add that sparkle with the Wink of Stella! So, who ever you decide to give it to, I know they’ll love it. Equally though, you could use it as a sympathy card too!! The choice is yours!
