Welcome to our Global Stampin’ Creative blog hop! Our theme this month is CASE Shelli! So, of course, I chose the Nature’s Thoughts Dies and Positive Thoughts stamps. They immediately made me think of Shelli our CO-Founder of Stampin’ Up! when I saw this stamp set. I also thought it would work great to CASE this card Shelli made!

Positive Thoughts Stamps

This project was made with the Positive Thoughts stamps and the newly released Nature’s Thoughts dies. Shelli always loves nature sets, so this was really a no brainer choice for me. I love the little fern stamp and the butterfly. Hugs, of course, is my signature sign off, so that had to be incorporated!

Nature’s Thoughts Dies

The dies are only available until the end of March, pop them in your basket now so you don’t forget! It’s worth it for the gorgeous trim and background layer dies alone! Plus there’s a great feather too.

The vellum base layer is a sneak peek of a new release, consequently, you can’t purchase it today, but it is available later next week, so check back in then and pop it on your next order.

CASE a Shelli Technique

I couldn’t complete a CASE of Shelli without some Wink of Stella splatter. One of her favourite techniques, I, of course, recreated it here. To recreate this yourself, hold the lid of your Wink of Stella in one hand with the opening facing inward horizontally. Then just flick the brush tip outwards from inside the lid onto your project. You may need to tilt your project to check the silver flecks are there! It’s such a pretty effect I really recommend it! It especially works well with these Positive Thoughts stamps I think.
