Like what you see?

My FINAL Water & Ink series video is a fabulous one – Water Splat and Alcohol Smoosh Techniques! The water splat one is an old favourite of mine and the Alcohol Smoosh is a new one I learned from my friend Linda Dalke.

Water Splat and Alcohol Smoosh Techniques

Enjoy the final tutorial which shows that sometimes you DO want to mix the same things together! I know that goes against all the rules I’ve told you, but sometimes you need to play a little. Then you find some fun new things that work!! Speaking of fun, I couldn’t resist adding some Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the butterfly sentiment label. More sparkle never hurts!

These look totally different, but they use exactly the same principle, mixing the same elements together. For example, water with water-based inks, and alcohol with alcohol markers. We did add water to water-based inks before in the Stargazing video (read about it here), but the daubers add a touch of fun! You can even do this one with the kids!

Think of all the fabulous projects you could make. Which colours would YOU choose to splat or smoosh together?
