This card started out as a celebration! A Forever Fern wreath card, like the old Roman laurels! However, when I started filming I changed it up, and as you can see we now have a Hooray and a Thank You card!
When you can use something for multiple purposes, it makes my heart happy. This wreath not only works now and every day for celebrations and pretty decorations, but you could also use it for example, for a Wedding or Christmas card. Four alternatives for one design, that is value for money!
Forever Fern Wreath Card
Watch the video and see how easy it is to create one of these cards. The trick is in positioning the fronds correctly.
The first card uses Shaded Spruce as the base layer with Garden Green as the top layer. The colours of the wreath are Shaded Spruce, Just Jade and Pear Pizzazz served with a Pretty Peacock “hooray” sentiment. Use the Forever Flourishing Dies to make the Wreath fronds and Well Written Dies for the sentiment.
This card was designed for one of my team who has advanced to Bronze Elite this month, earning herself a pay rise of 5% which is fabulous! I now have to make another one as another teamie has also advanced, which is amazing!
Changing up the second card I think the Cinnamon Cider packs a punch. Swap out the Pear Pizzazz for Soft Seafoam, and the colours blend beautifully.
Measurements
- A5 cardbase folded in half.
- Designer Series Paper 14.4 x 10 cm
- 10.5 x 9 cm for the base layer of the wreath
- 10 x 8.5 cm for the top layer of the wreath
Don’t forget to use the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to ensure some extra sparkle! Those gems really set off the Wreath element. Just like baubles for a Christmas version!
