Life is Beautiful In Autumn
Isn’t life beautiful when the Autumn colours come around? It is my favourite time of the year for several reasons. Firstly, the colours and the scents of nature just make me feel happy.
Secondly, it’s nearly time for our Christmas Craft Retreats which I love to put on, and finally, it means it’s nearly Christmas itself! WHOOOOOP Yes I have to admit I love Christmas. I would have the full house decorated, fire blazing, stockings ready, warm mulled wine and mince pies thing. If I could, but sadly our house isn’t big enough and Shaun isn’t a Christmas person. It’s ok, I love him anyway. And I sneak in a few bits where I can! Luckily mincepies are his favourite, so that’s good!

You must forgive me for getting side-tracked by Christmas, right here you go with a close up of the wording & layering – can you see the green layer is actually Designer Series Paper from Poinsettia Place!
But first we get the build up of Autumn! This card celebrates that, the leaves changing colour. The big tree stamp in the Life is Beautiful stamp set works great upsidedown as a branch hanging down. The Brass Foils gives us the luxury, and the stamped leaves & sponging of the edges remind us of that earthy scent!
This card was one of my technique cards in September’s Product Class. We had a lot of fun making the different layout shapes. I think it really works! Life is Beautiful, in all the seasons, you just have to look for the beauty & feel it in the air. You can purchase my tutorial for this class below!
