This card is simple to make. Just using pretty Designer Series Papers with a little bit of stamping and colouring. I used the Snowflake Splendor papers, added some fluttering seed pods to the snowflakes. This card is about Autumn turning to Winter and how that makes me feel! I love it by the way! Frosted mornings, yum! By adding the splattering of Frost White Shimmer Paint, you get that frosted look!

Measurements for Frosted Greetings Card

  • A5 cardbase Misty Moonlight folded at 10.5 cm
  • Seaside Spray cardstock 12.5 x 8.5 cm
  • Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper 12 x 8 cm

I love a greetings card that makes me feel frosty!

I love a greetings card that makes me feel frosty! Of course, no card is complete without a decorated envelope. The Envelope Dies make it so easy to add the papers to the flap for a really professional look. You do need a die cutting machine to use these dies. If you don’t have one, why not cut it by hand or just stamp the seeds on the flap?

To get the frosted look, dip your water painter (I used the medium head) into your Frost White Shimmer Paint. Put the brush head just a small way into the lid and then flick the brush ahead away from you. This ensures you splatter the card & not you!

The stamp set I used is coming in January, but I know you love a sneak peek! I’m such a tease! But why not stock up on the papers before they leave us this December? Of course, you’ll also want to ensure you have the Shimmer Paint so you can really sparkle up your cards. Finally, don’t forget to add that Envelope Die set into your basket if you have a die cutting machine.
