I believe being a new card maker doesn’t mean you can’t make stylish cards. They can be simple to make but still pack a punch. That’s why I love making Simply Stylish cards. These cards are inspired by nature, in fact by a bunch of gorgeous tulips I was given by a lovely friend of mine. What in nature inspires you? COMMENT HERE and give us some more great ideas!

Making Cards Inspired by Nature

Do you like my Tulip Card? I featured it on my FB Live last week along with a card using the Flowering Cactus Product Medley. The first half of the video works with the cactus medley, which includes a set of dies, so it’s aimed at people who have a die cutting machine. This might not you be now, but it might be something you want to consider down the road.
But the second card is simply inks, stamps, a punch and some colouring pens. These are the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. I love Stampin’ Blends for new card makers because they are so forgiving. Blending really is made easy!! And gives you a great finish, every time.
Finally, with the added bow and some Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads), this is a wow card.

See How Easy These Cards Are

This Timeless Tulip card is so easy for you to recreate at home with just some simple supplies. The hardest part was working out whether it should or shouldn’t have a bow! As you can see, we went with a bow in the end!

Watch the video (start at 26 mins if you want to skip straight to the Tulips card) to see how I put this card together. Of course you can watch it all if you’d also like to see my Cactus card, inspired by the cacti Shaun has up in our back room!
