Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop

Whoo-hoo, time to join this amazing group of international demonstrators for this month’s hop. This month’s theme features True Love papers. Therefore I wanted to do something that showed the versatility of this paper pack, which of course means I had to make a True Love One Sheet Wonder! I love playing with paper and I broke out a new stamp & punch bundle too – Oval Occasions!

What do you think? Do you love the monochrome look? COMMENT HERE and tell me what you think! I love hearing your views!

True Love One Sheet Wonder

My One Sheet Wonder makes 10 cards in total, with just 1 sheet. Since you get 12 sheets in a pack, you could make a total of 120 cards! I love the monochrome look and while you can colour the paper, I decided to leave it plain! I think it’s very simply stylish, and that describes the cards I love to make.

If you haven’t heard of a One Sheet Wonder before, they’re really easy. Cut your paper up into pieces and use each of those on a card design. If you are clever you have very little or no wastage. Click here to buy my tutorial for these cards. The Oval Occasions bundle is a perfect set for quick and easy cards. The ones where the writing is white on black are made using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and the Heat Embossing technique (click here to watch a video of how that is done).

Hi Pip, I love the monochrome, it’s so flexible and you can add just a little ‘pop’ on a single berry or flower. It’s a bit like the ‘little black dress’ – dress it up or dress it down, but every girl needs one 🙂 x (even if I don’t have one 🙂 )

Haha I don’t have a LBD either! But yes you can easily add a pop of colour too! Fab papers!
