Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop

Whoo-hoo, time to join this amazing group of international demonstrators for this month’s hop. This month’s theme features Pattern Party Paper. I got a little carried away because there is so much paper to choose from! I’m sure you’ll love these papers, especially when you get them for free with Host Rewards! Yes, it’s a special set of papers just for hosts or host earning orders. And it’s huge! 12 designs, 4 sheets of each – that’s 48 sheets of 12 x 12 / 30.5 x 30.5 cm paper! You can make a lot of cards the same without running out of your paper at all!

Pattern Party Paper

I really love simple designs and I love the split use of the card base here. Using part of it for one colour piece of paper and part of it for another piece of paper and just having some simple sentiments from the Biggest Wish stamp set.

You can see that you have the big sentiments and then the same words in the scribbly writing too, which is fab. And you can combine them together. So, you could have big happy and big birthday or you can do as I’ve done here big happy and then scribble birthday. They’re just a great fun way to make some really simple cards that pop out.

Using some die-cut Tasteful Labels and Hippo & Friends dies, plus my go to Rectangular Stitched dies. Do you see the pop of the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in the new Pale Papaya ink. Yummy!

Colour matches

Grab the Pattern Party papers which are all kinds of beautiful, with funky colours, nice bright bold colours which you know that’s really my bag.

These cards have Flirty Flamingo, Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green, and Crushed Curry as the colours for the card bases. Then you use those colours for the Biggest Wish sentiments and match them perfectly paper straight out of that Patterns Party paper pack! Which colour combo is your favourite? COMMENT HERE, I’d love to know!

Colourful, pretty cards Pip! Great mix of papers. My favourite is the third “Thank you card.”
