Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop

Whoo hoo, time to join this amazing group of international demonstrators for this month’s hop. This month’s theme led me to create what I call a Low Tech Card with Whimsy & Wonder papers. Why Low Tech? Simple, you don’t need a lot of complicated card making equipment to make it! Anyone can make this card!

Low Tech Card With Whimsy & Wonder

You will need a regular shaped punch, this is the Tailored Tag one. You punch a load of one shape from your favourite paper. In this case, of course, it’s Whimsy & Wonder with the dreamy holographic highlights!

You start in the middle, making sure the edges are straight to the sides (so you don’t go crooked, although that’s also a look!!) Then you work your way out with different papers so you get a multicoloured design. Leave a little space between each punched piece and you get a perfect card!
I added some Organdy Glittered Ribbon, another Basic White piece with the wording stamped in Polished Pink. You can finish it off with a punched Tree covered in your favourite jewels!

It’s great for using up all those odds and ends of paper you get when you’ve made lots and lots of cards! These were bits leftover from my Retreat Designs – which I will bring you soon! My Retreat is next weekend & I’m very excited, but I can’t share anything yet! I don’t want to spoil the surprises for my guests!
