Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop

Who wants to make some simple Christmas cards? Hands up! I know it’s you! Because it’s already the 19th of November, and if you’re not well ahead on your card making, you are leaving it a little late! The good news is I’m here to help. In fact, lots of us are here to help. It’s time to join this amazing group of international demonstrators for this month’s hop. This month’s theme features Peaceful Place. This paper has some cleverly designed pieces that make card making simple. Perfect for beginners to make some fabulous Christmas cards!

Simple Christmas Cards – Peaceful Place

The first two cards feature the papers that are designed to be cut into standard A6 size cards (or large 14.5 cm Square – as you can see in this blog post here.) These papers are beautiful & all they really need are words and you’re done!

I love changing up the standard colours so this one I think is my favourite. You can make some great combinations for these to really personalise them to you. Let’s face it, almost every colour goes with black, white & silver!

This card features Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss – yum! You can watch how I put this & 3 other Christmas cards together in this video. I’ll have another Christmas Card Class coming up free on YouTube or Facebook on 1st December too!

I also have the same card but use some Heat Embossing for the words – this is a fun technique too! This just has that single layer so we see more of the beautiful trees!

Use White on Black Embossing for a real stand out sentiment!

Have Well Defined Wording

A plain Happy Christmas is great, but why not add some extra fun with the Well-Defined stamp set! For this card, you will need some layering circle dies or punches, but I think it’s worth the extra work!

Well Defined stamps make great bold statements on your cards.
