Like what you see?

Are you new to this hobby & think you can’t add di cuts s to your card making? Do you think they are only for those who are experienced? Well, I’m sorry to say this, but you are wrong. Let me tell you how to add die cuts to your card making!

Firstly, you can add dies at any stage of your hobby journey but, normally I recommend you start off with a kit, so you get used to the card making elements first. But once you’re off & running, then die cutting is a great way to add layers to your cards. In the Building Basics section of the Card Making Know How membership, we cover adding die cuts and embossed pieces to your cards.

In this week’s live stream I shared a new set of stamps & dies (Waves of Inspiration), just to show you what can be done.

Die cutting and dry embossing are two great ways to create layering and texture in your designs. Just look at the gorgeous embossed piece on the notecard here. Doesn’t that look great? And doesn’t the bird (whatever it is) look amazing die cut out against that background?

Now, I’m going to add something here to say our Mini Cut & Emboss machine is always a great price at £56, but we had such a successful sale this month, it’s currently unavailable! But it’s due back in again in April, so make sure you pop a HEART on it. What do I mean? When you shop with me, you can add a heart to any product you like. Create an account & then that item will show in your favourites, so you don’t have to go searching for it again!
